How to book a taxi in Korea

Kakao T app

Install the Kakao Taxi app.
Set the origin and destination in the app.
Click to Kakao Blue Taxi or Black.
In the payment method selection, select ‘direct payment’ and click call.

Kakao t app is available in English.

Uber app

Download the Uber app in the US in advance, enter your card, and when you arrive in Korea
The Uber app changes to UT when you go to Korea.
When you arrive at your destination, you don’t have to give a card, just drop off and it’s so convenient.
If you download the Uber app in Korea, it will not work.

If you can’t book a taxi through the app
Call the (area code +114).
